Youngsters and Fairtrade are all winners at Beach Creative

IT was smiles all round at Beach Creative when prizes were handed out for the best collages made by children at the Herne Bay gallery during half-term.

Oran and Dara finished first and third in the competition and there work – along with that of other children – will be on display at Beach Creative until Friday, March 6.

1st Hampton Guides were presented with a certificate by Canterbury District Fairtrade steering group in recognition of their support of Fairtrade.

Their was special thanks for their artwork and displays created for Fairtrade Fortnight. The sculpture created by the Guides using Fairtrade packaging, called Divine, is now on display at the Co-op in Herne Bay High Street.
