At the meeting held on November 18, the chairman welcomed everyone, in particular the demonstrator, Debbie Brown, from Ashford in Middlesex. Everyone was given a newsletter, and those not attending the dinner on December 2 received the programme for 2015. The Nosh and Knowledge evening has been booked for Saturday, March 21, and any prizes for the raffle in aid of Pilgrims Hospice would be much appreciated. Sittingbourne’s Day of Demonstrations is booked for October 17 and names for this will be needed early next year. Debbie judged the project for the evening, a Christmas cake, and the winners were Mollie Drinkwater for under two years’ experience and June Drinkwater for the experienced. Debbie then did a fantastic model of a Hindu god, which she kindly donated to the raffle.
Visitors are always welcome to the meetings, which are held on the third Tuesday in every month from 7.30pm-9.15pm, with the exception of December. These meetings are held at 15a Castle Road, Whitstable, and details can be obtained from Beryl, on 01227 274413.
