Solar panels turning district to wasteland

I SEE more acres of our beloved county turned to dead wasteland by solar farms. Is it not possible to use higher support frames so that grass can grow, which could then be kept down by grazing sheep? Same power, more meat, more wool, better view. A win-win-win-win situation. And supermarkets and councils could put raised solar panels above their car-parking spaces. The space is free, a field is saved and there’s no loss of visual amenity. Some lateral thinking would reduce the green pressure to desecrate our countryside.
