You can help…
This year, for the first time, the local community will take over the running of Herne Bay’s Museum.
2015 will be a very exciting (and slightly nerve-wracking) time, and we’ll need all the help we can get!
We’re asking people to commit to spending a half-day a month at the Museum, helping out however they can with whatever needs doing.
With plenty of volunteers, the load will be spread thin enough that it’s not a burden. We’re aiming to have a lot of people doing a bit, rather than a few people doing heaps. Please click here to download a simple form to let us know you’re interested, and how you can help.
You needn’t worry that you’ll be the first and only volunteer – we’ve already got a good few dozen, but we want and need to have more. It’s worth pointing out that we have a strict “no arm-twisting” rule: you do as much as you’re comfortable with, and no more.
We want to have a lot of people helping our Museum to thrive, and we want each and every one of you to enjoy it.
