Festive cheer was thanks to helpers

I am writing to thank the volunteers who have helped to bring back the Christmas spirit to Sea Street roundabout this year. After several disastrous accidents during the year it was restored to its former glory ready for the festive season. We would like to thank John Quinney who has replaced the mini beach huts which he originally built for us and Serco who decorated it with our Christmas lights and also to our own “Bloomers” Sue Halfpenny and Janis Green who have replanted the boat and keep an eye on its general horticultural tidiness throughout the year. As well as providing a colourful entrance to the town it twinkled with a seasonal welcome to everyone.
