Local artists support Fairtrade fortnight

Those smashing people at Beach Creative are running an exhibition to support the excellent Fairtrade initiative. If you’re an artist (even if only in secret!) you need to hand in your work on 23rd February, between 10am and 4pm. The exhibition itself will run from 27th February until 16th March.

Music, Art & Poetry in Herne Bay

The Herne Bay branch of the WEA (Workers’ Educational Association) is starting a new season of courses.

There will be a seven week course starting 17th April - one two-hour session a week - looking at poets and poetry between the two world wars.

Tutor Ron Dodge introduces the course:

Whoosh... you're in the year 2018. It's hard to know what your life will be like then, or what the world around you will be like.
