THE children of Reculver Primary School became little stars for the day as they retold the nativity story.
Last week it was the turn of the year one and two pupils to perform the Born in a Barn Christmas story.
Lower school team leader Louise Askham said: “The Lower School children thoroughly enjoyed performing to an audience.
“The Cockerel was annoyed at having a new baby born in his barn, but actually enjoyed having all of the special visitors in the end!
“The year two children acted beautifully, with dancing animals and beautiful stars and angels.
“The year one children sang the songs with actions, having lots of fun.
“It was a great success!”
