Museum closes

The town’s museum has closed its doors as part of Canterbury City Council’s cost-cutting measures. The museum and gallery in William Street will be open for half term, from February 15 to 23, and then will open four days a week from March 27 to September 28. The reduced opening hours were agreed by councillors after a report revealed each visit cost the council up to £30.
