The Cheshire-based company, which operated Kent Escapes also flew out from Prestwick airport in Scotland. It blamed its shutdown on the grounding of charter airline Futura’s planes which provided 80 per cent of its flights. Thanet holidaymakers booked on flights that were due to take off today from Manston are being urged to contact the Civil Aviation Authority to recover their money.
