LOCAL chef and curry master Paul Babra will be holding an Indian vegetarian masterciass on Saturday, January 31 (10.30 am to noon) in aid of the Friends of Kingsmead Field. The group will be launched officially later in the year, to promote the field, and work with the city council to manage it.
During the class, Paul will explain spice awareness and wifi demonstrate the preparation of vegetable pilao, aromatic chickpeas (channa masala) and pineapple raita. Participants will then be able to sample all the prepared dishes. It will take place in Paul’s culinary workshop in the Barton Business Park off the New Dover Road. The cost of the class is £25 per person, which includes a donation to the Friends of Kingsmead Field
