THE society held its annual show last Wednesday, judged by Hazel Taylor, with the following results:

  • Most points in show: John Child.
  • Second most points: Richard Baker.
  • Third most points: Philip Andrews.
  • Fourth Most Points: David Drage.
  • Best cactus in show: Philip Andrews for his Notocactus magnificus.
  • Best succulent in show: John Child for his Euphorbia stellata.
  • Best mammillaria: Richard Baker for his M bombycina.
  • Best overall plant in show: Philip Andrews for the Notocactus magnificus.

On July 16 popular speaker Stirling Baker will entertain members with his talk on Unusual Cacti, and as always, non-members are very welcome.
