A Herne Bay man who failed to provide test for drink driving has been banned from the road for two years and ordered to carry out 120 hours’ unpaid work. Andrew Webb, 35 of Canterbury Road, had denied the charge but was convicted and sentenced by Canterbury magistrates on December 15. The court heard he had failed to provide a specimen of urine for analysis without reasonable excuse after being arrested. He was also ordered to pay £750 costs and a £60 victim surcharge.
