More than 150 cannabis plants have been seized after a raid in Lancaster Gardens, Beltinge, yesterday (Wednesday). The haul could produce a harvest with an estimated street value of £132,000, according to police.
A spokesman said the house in the quiet residential street was searched after “concerns over activity”. A 39-year-old man from Canterbury was arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis and has been bailed until November 4. A total of 157 plants were taken from the property, in the same street as a care home for elderly people.
