A man from Herne Bay has been fined £148 and ordered to complete 40 hours of unpaid work after cannabis was found at his home. Police officers raided the house of Steven Henley in Clarendon Street on November 5 and found 0.2 ounces of the class B drug. The 22-year-old, who recently moved to the area from Devon, told officers it was for his own use and pleaded guilty to a charge of possessing cannabis at Canterbury Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
